"Hosted by the Stewardship Centre for BC and Bird Studies Canada in collaboration with the 27th International Ornithological Congress and the Vancouver International Bird Festival, the Roundtable on Friday, August 24, 2018 will be a forum and showcase of innovative practices championed in our province and beyond.

This is a chance for birders, researchers, and members of the community to meet and discuss best practices for improving habitat for birds and reducing their mortality rates. Panel presentations, World Café style discussions, storytelling, and networking will all contribute to the development of next-step action plans on six theme topics.

There is a $20 registration fee that gives you access to all concurrent sessions, lunch, and the networking and poster session. For just $10 more, participants can also attend the evening event, “Birds of a Feather,” featuring key note speaker Purnima Barman.
